What We Do
Community
- Provide a range of termly educational and leisure courses including accredited and certified courses
- Organise local community days and fund raising events
- Help those who are unemployed or wishing to change career direction with job search workshops and courses
- Support local businesses with business training courses and workshops
- Provide sign posting to other support agencies
Family Learning
- Provide support for parents, grandparents and carers via our Parent Support advisor together with parenting workshop sessions.
- Deliver Maths and English workshops to give parents /carers an insight into today’s teaching techniques providing them with the skills they need to support their children
- Run a selection of family learning events during the year at each primary school
- Provide family learning events at the high school and college focusing on the schools specialisms .
- Support the transition process from primary school to high school with specific events to ease the process
- Provide sign posting to other family support agencies
